What is Cold Water Therapy?

Kay Lou, Breath Coach & Cold Water Therapy Facilitator

“I’d love to say I found dynamic breathwork and cold water therapy, but the truth is, they found me. And in doing so, they helped me find myself.”

Hi, I’m Kay Lou, a recognised and reputable Breath Coach, Cold Water Therapy Facilitator, and the owner of Kay Lou Klub. I’m passionate about guiding others through transformative breathwork and cold water immersion practices to help them achieve better mental health, emotional well-being, and physical health.

My personal journey with anxiety and panic attacks led me to discover the profound benefits of these healing practices, and now I’m dedicated to sharing them with you. Both cold water therapy and breathwork have been essential tools in my own healing process, and it’s my mission to help others harness their power too.

My Journey Into Breathwork & Cold Water Therapy

When the pandemic forced us all indoors, it also encouraged me to go inward, to reflect, and to explore new ways to strengthen my mental health. During this time, I qualified as a YOGABODY® Breath Coach in June 2020, followed by my Cold Water Therapy certification just eight months later.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of coaching individuals, couples, and groups throughout the North West in developing their own conscious breathwork practices and supporting them through transformative cold water therapy sessions. I have also created the first Cold Water Facilitator Training Programme that consists of both online and in person training to support you in becoming a reputable Cold Water Facilitator.
