Our Cold water therapy reservoir sessions in Bolton are hosted at the beautiful Wayoh Reservoir and can be found tucked away at the end of Embankment Rd, Chapeltown, Bolton, England.

You will find a few car parking spaces at the top of Embankment Rd. Please be mindful not to block any residents’ driveways. We will meet you at the front gates of the reservoir.

Wayoh Reservoir is a small lake in Lancashire at an altitude of about 172 meters. It was constructed between 1866 and 1876 by the Great and Little Bolton Waterworks Co and is a freshwater lake.

The valley beneath the reservoir contains a few historic industrial buildings - some of which can be easily seen at times of low water.

The water’s edge is easily accessible with a gently sloping walkway, perfect for your cold water therapy in Bolton and is the backdrop to a lush forest where there have been sightings and recordings of 164 species of birds.
